Software Engineer / Developer / Programmer in St. Paul:
"One Word... AWESOME."
Pros: I like creating something from nothing and watching it make peoples lives easier. I love seeing the stress reduce when I turnout a project that people are wanting, but not asking for because they have been told in the past that it not possible. I love creating things, breaking them, fixing them and then trying to break them again. This is the most satisfying job I have ever had. I enjoy coming to work everyday and making people's jobs easier. The company I work for is a big factor in that. They are a small to medium, but they treat us all very well.
Cons: What I like the least about my job is spending hours upon hours on a project. Spending countless meetings and design brainstorms to get the product to the customers specs, only to have them come back and say they want something completely different at launch time. That is the only thing I dislike about this job.

"Stressful, Rewarding, Undervalued."
Pros: Rewarding also it gives you experience and the availability to work on your own projects at home.
Cons: Super stressful, over worked , expected to do alot in super little time. Very undervalued as a programmer/software engineer.
