Choosing a college is a major investment. By looking at the 20-year net ROI and annualized ROI of each college on our list, you can make sure to choose a school you can afford based on your current family income and your projected earnings over the next two decades. Earnings, however, depend greatly on choice of major so take that into account as well.

When ranked by college return on investment, Oklahoma is home to several public schools that provide a good return. The University of Oklahoma is one of these. Notable alumni include Blake Griffin, James Garner and Olivia Munn.

Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma is a Big 10 school, and the Cowboys and Cowgirls are passionate about their winning sports teams, especially football. Garth Brooks, Gary Busey and Randy Couture were all OSU graduates.
