Whether you call it the Equality State, The Cowboy State or just home sweet home, Wyoming has a host of great jobs for college graduates -- thanks in no small part to the University of Wyoming (the only school on our list of Wyoming schools this year due to limited data for other schools.) UW is the largest college in Wyoming, with about 10,000 undergraduate students enrolled. When we include University of Wyoming graduates with advanced degrees, median mid-career numbers don't change, but median early career pay increases slightly.

In term of ROI for Public Universities, UW is among the top 100 in the country. It also has a fairly even split of 60-40, men to women.

Seventy-nine percent of University of Wyoming alumni would recommend the school to others and 20 percent graduate with a degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) subject. Among the most popular jobs for graduates were Civil and Mechanical Engineers, HR Directors, Senior Accountants, and Software Engineers.
