Candidates for this position should generally have a bachelor’s degree in a field such as advertising, communications, media, or public relations, as well as at least three years of experience within the field. While this position may be supervisory in nature (including working with an advertising team), these coordinators also work independently, and the position can be full-time or part-time depending on clients’ requirements.
Advertising coordinators have a variety of responsibilities, including: building relationships with clients; coordinating advertising with marketing teams and developers; selling media advertisements to publishers; scheduling ads with various staff and teams; supporting all team members; maintaining accurate client records; coordinating with the financial department; and maintaining a professional demeanor while adhering to all deadlines.
