School business managers oversee the administration and allocation of budgets and resources in a variety of public and private learning institutions. School business managers typically work during regular office hours on weekdays. Their work is both independent and collaborative, as they may have to work with other faculty members and give presentations, as well as perform a number of independent tasks. The tasks involved in the school business manager's position include helping meet organizational goals related to management and budget, preparing and executing quarterly and annual budgets, organizing and executing fundraisers, and completing recordkeeping related to these campaigns.
