Sr. Project Manager, Operations Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Sr. Project Manager, Operations?

Sr. Project Manager, Operations in New York:
"It pays to get what you deserve from the beginning."
Pros: I really enjoy the fairly steady work/life balance my job and my company offers. I am able to leave work behind when I'm away from the office which is very important to me. The company takes good care of the employees with great benefits and the people are a pleasure to work with.
Cons: I am underpaid in my position and there is not much I am able to do about it if I stay at my company. I had joined the company in quite a junior role and the internal promotion is such that I am not able to get the raises that would bring my compensation to market rate. I am at a disadvantage as an internal promotion even though I love the opportunities for mobility within my company.
