A large number of survey participants opt for a 401(k) to save for retirement. Alumni of McNeese State University pick up average paychecks of $64K, which is closest to the amount made by PVAMU grads among similar schools. The University of Houston-Clear Lake, Texas State University-San Marcos, and the University of Houston-Victoria are also similar to PVAMU.
