General / Operations Manager Reviews

What is it like working as a General / Operations Manager?
General / Operations Manager in Oshawa:
"Feeling Mistreated And Underpaid."
Pros: My job is incredibly entertaining and eventful. I have learnt a lot in the last year of me being here, but it would seem that for the jobs that I am doing and the people I am supervising that I am not getting paid enough. Dealing with people from all over the world is a great benefit to myself in this business and would like to continue to do so.
Cons: I feel as if I am being underpaid, under appreciated. The work I do is not simple, and it is incredibly stressful. I have a friend who is in the same situation getting paid almost three times as much and has to do half the work.
General / Operations Manager in Edmonton:
Pros: I like the growth atmosphere and the flexibility.
Cons: I don't like the limitations of a small business.
General / Operations Manager in Toronto:
"Managing the overall direction and leadership."
Pros: Providing leadership and support for the development of members and their companies. Leading the development and implementation of policies and procedures that contribute to the achievement of the Bourse or it’s membership’s mission, values, priorities and objectives. Bring in new members. Develop web based business and a trading platform. Bring in more service and/or organizations that would add value to the bourse. Manages change by anticipating or responding to developments within the external and internal environment that may impact the Bourse or its membership. Contributing to the overall direction, leadership and management of the Bourse, as part of the senior management team
Cons: Increase trading activity in the bourse via tenders, seminars, etc.
