Make it right, and be on time!
Accounting Manager - (City withheld for privacy), California, United States
I work for a drywall company. The company does very well and the people here make it happen without the need for more than an 8 hour day. Bonuses come 2x a year, profit sharing and 401k match annually, time off when needed, including several weeks vacation. The only down side to working here is... be on time. If you are not being paid fairly GET OUT!!! It isn't going to change.
Accounting Manager - (City withheld for privacy), Illinois, United States
I don't think I am being paid fairly due to the amount of education I have and the job functions that I perform. I have a MBA in accounting, but I am not allowed to even see the online/realtime bank statement, or make any decisions in the office but I am the Office/Accounting Manager. Personal life
Accounting Manager - (City withheld for privacy), Texas, United States
I believe there needs to be more balance in employees lives. Rather than expecting employees to work 50+ hours per week on a regular basis. The idea to an assistant controller that this is acceptable is crazy. This is why people get burned out and overloaded with their job, and ultimately leave the company. Most of us have families, and work is not worth sacrificing a relationship and time with families, as well personal time for the employees.
