A wholesale assistant manager's primary responsibility is to assist in the day-to-day operations of their department. They work regularly with employees, ensuring maximum productivity by providing guidance, leadership, and discipline as needed. Additionally, wholesale assistant managers supervise wholesale warehouse operations and are expected to oversee inventory, ensure that their employees are on time, and make sure that all of their actions (and their subordinates' actions) are compliant with the company's rules and any relevant laws.
