dealerships look for this certifation when hiring or give raises for each test pasted . my dealership at the time offered ten cents a test. So I took 6 tests the begining of the year and another 6 test six months later. Past them all and got a 1.20 raise in the first 8 months of working there.

Well I was having trouble in North Carolina where I was attending a Technical school but they were basically teaching me the same things I already new about being an Auto Tech and couldn't really see the real reason other than a piece of paper saying I now know what I already knew before. Plus I couldn't get a decent paying job because I had no papers saying I can do the job.
