These may include conducting troubleshooting, repairing malfunctioning appliances and consulting on ways to avoid potential breakdowns. Appliances vary in size and operation, which typically means a repairer specializes in a certain type or size of appliance. Troubleshooting tasks performed by home appliance repairers include performing visual inspections, identifying leaks and unwanted vibrations, conducting noise checks and noticing disconnected parts.
