Nuclear technicians generally work in nuclear production settings and monitor multiple operations at once to ensure that appropriate levels of nuclear power are produced. They may also test and troubleshoot various machines to ensure that they are functioning properly. Some technicians may also be required to gather and analyze data to determine the quality of certain systems, which may require strong computer skills.
