Manufacturing production supervisors are responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and executing daily tasks in line with the production schedule. Daily tasks may include rate checks, sanitation checks, scrap reporting, inventory management, and mentoring of assistant supervisors. The production supervisor is also the head of their respective first-response team, managing safety and accidents, and reviewing all hazardous material requirements and practices.
