Stay in the same town
Project Engineer - (City withheld for privacy), Louisiana, United States
Stay in the same town. Your reputation will be readily available and can be built on. A little travel is OK but keep your community activities. If changing jobs, stay in the same town and take something closely related to what you were doing. The disruption of moving isn't worth it. You will have to start all over in the new town where nobody knows you.
