Job Description for Sales Consultant, Automobile/Cars

The automotive sales consultant is responsible for helping automobile buyers discover which vehicles best fit their needs within their price range. If the buyer decides to purchase a vehicle, the automotive sales consultant either refers them to a representative of the dealership's finance department or (as is often the case in small or used-car lots) they may assist in closing the sale on their own.
