Swimming pool and spa servicers/technicians are responsible for performing pool and spa maintenance for their company. They are in charge of installing and repairing automated control systems, as well as chemical and leak detection systems. They troubleshoot pool and spa issues, interact with clients, and explain their assessment to clients using non-technical language. Swimming pool and spa servicers/technicians confer with management to resolve problems and coordinate activities. One of their main duties includes reading blueprints to determine requirements and plan procedures. They determine potential pool issues before they become a bigger inconvenience and cost to clients as well.
