The most important skills I have had to use in my time as a Systems Architect is to be organized and to be assertive. You are dealing with my details, and translating from the business world to the IT world, so having an organized outlook is essential. A Systems Architect sometimes functions as a project manager, which means that sometimes people will have to report to you to perform task or work their part in a larger project.
