Home to the lowest median salary for TWU alumni is Fort Worth, Texas, a popular place for former students despite its around $50K average paycheck. Graduates of TWU also relocate to Houston, Texas, which is not far away, and Denton, Texas.

Degree Major

With a median annual earnings of about $112K per year, former Pioneers who have a Master of Science (MS), Occupational Therapy (OT) are the best paid among the alumni population. Those with a Bachelor's Degree, Business Administration face salaries on the lower end, coming in at an average approximately $39K per year.


Microsoft Excel is a common skill among TWU alumni — nearly one-tenth of grads mention using it at work. People Management commands a pay premium of 27 percent for former Pioneers. In addition, those who are savvy in Customer Service, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Word are also considered highly skilled.

Benefits and Perks

Just two-fifths of alumni enjoy paid vacation and merely one-fifth of alumni get paid sick time. Dental insurance applies to the larger part of graduates, and a strong majority of former students report health coverage. A fair number of alumni save for retirement through a 401(k) plan. Texas Woman's University grads also enjoy benefits like life insurance, a casual working environment, a company-subsidized cell phone, and tuition reimbursement.
