Though Plano, Texas takes the cake for lowest pay among TWU grads (the median salary is approximately $54K there), it remains a common destination for former students. Alumni express interest in Charlotte, N.C. and Denton, Texas as well.

Degree Major

A Master of Business Administration (MBA), Accounting leads to the highest pay for TWU grads ($82K on average per year). Graduates holding a Bachelor's Degree fare the worst in terms of compensation with an average yearly salary of $44K.


For former Pioneers, proficiency in ADP Payroll System warrants a paycheck that is 25 percent more than other alumni salaries. TWU grads are usually competent in Microsoft Office, and nearly one-sixth of alumni continue practicing this skill in their career. Competency in Microsoft Excel, Project Management, and Microsoft Word also warrants excellent remuneration.

Benefits and Perks

Nearly half of the alumni are allowed to take paid time off for vacation, but only about one-fourth of alumni get paid sick leave. In an effort to save up for the years ahead, the larger part of alums contribute to a 401(k). Benefits are rather generous for graduates of this school; the larger part of graduates are rewarded with health insurance and more than half of alums report dental coverage, too.
