Graduates of TWU work in a variety of sectors including the health care services industry, the education industry, and clinical care. The majority of TWU alumni wind up in the health care industry. Former Pioneers who fare the best in terms of salary hold a Master of Science (MS), Occupational Therapy (OT) and earn a median salary of approximately $105K per year. A B.A. in Fashion Design commands less pay, and these degree-holders face median pay of $38K.


Customer Service is a popular skill among TWU alumni, with less than ten percent of grads reporting using it on the job. Former Pioneers with People Management experience garner salaries that are 38 percent more than other grads' salaries. Demonstrated ability in Budget Management, Acute Care, and Pediatrics rank among leading skills as well.

Benefits and Perks

Only two-fifths of alumni earn paid vacation and just one in four survey participants get paid sick time. A strong majority of respondents receive health insurance, and a fair number of alums get dental coverage. A strong majority of former students save for retirement through a 401(k) plan. Texas Woman's University grads are also lucky enough to receive life insurance, tuition reimbursement, a casual working environment, and a company-subsidized cell phone.
