Pros: The commuting time is relatively short. People in the community are interested in education and looking for opportunities to help their children do their best. It is a safe community with many parks, schools, libraries etc. There are many restaurants and places to meet/socialize. Access to the go train into Toronto is great if you live in the south end of the city.
Cons: If you don't have a car, it is very difficult to get to places you want to go. The public transit is poor and this makes it difficult for parents who don't have a car to access services, recreation etc. It is also an expensive city with high housing costs. Commuting to Toronto is difficult due to extensive traffic.
