Job Description for Field Representative
Field representatives may complete a wide variety of tasks outside of their company's headquarters; these assignments can range from finding new employees to finding new customers to installing or fixing equipment. Regardless of the tasks performed, field representatives are responsible for reaching and building positive relationships with a large number of external individuals. Many field representatives are responsible for finding new customers; these representatives must be knowledgeable about their company's products and services, as well as able to generate interest and sales. Field representatives may use different methods to connect with individuals outside of their company, such as job fairs to help locate new employees and malls or sports stadiums to sell products. These professionals may also perform tasks such as installing and fixing equipment, which requires knowledge of equipment function and repair techniques.
