Job Description for Regional Recruiter

Regional recruiters are generally responsible for recruiting and pre-qualifying potential candidates to fill open positions within a company. Upon finding qualified applicants, they then schedule interviews to be conducted with the appropriate hiring committees, and may also attend and conduct interviews during the hiring process. When an applicant is under consideration for a position, the regional recruiter is responsible for background checks and employment verification; throughout the acquisition process, they are expected to provide timely communication and maintain all documentation between candidates, hiring managers, and human resources staff. They also participate in internal assessments and talent-succession meetings while staying up-to-date with company policies.
