Job Description for Facility Coordinator

A facility coordinator is generally the person within an organization who is responsible for managing all building and equipment maintenance. The person can act as a “middleman” among company employees and contractors who operate within the building. This position will be found in a variety of facilities, such as office buildings, schools, hospitals, and manufacturing plants.

Facility Coordinator Tasks

  • Maintain documentation, process checks, coordinate rental reservations, and provide on-site support as necessary.
  • Act as point of contact with customers to resolve issues with rentals or on-site events.
  • Oversee and coordinate facility rental sales and all on-site logistics.
  • Coordinate with planners and vendors to anticipate potential problems and resolve any issues pre-emptively.
