Horticulturists in the United States tend to have a good amount of experience under their belt — slightly less than three-fifths have more than 10 years in the field. While pay runs from $24K to $54K per year, typical earnings come to $41K annually. Although slightly less than a third lack health benefits of any kind, a majority do enjoy medical insurance, and slightly less than one-half get dental coverage, too.
