What's gotta change?
Mental Health Case Manager - (City withheld for privacy), Illinois, United States
I have a Master's Degree and am a counselor/case manager out of school. Currently I'm trying to get a new job more counseling specific but the current way that this field is going makes it difficult to make a living if you are any way involved in Community Mental Health. I feel like someone needs to take a stand. I contacted a union rep about where I work and am awaiting their input on what to do next.
One of my co-workers said it best when she said that it is our job to help empower people...
