Senior program managers for marketing are responsible for effectively managing marketing programs and initiatives for their organization. They are in charge of leading a group of marketing specialists to reach all company objectives in a timely manner, measuring the performance of current programs and making recommendations for future improvements. In addition to interacting with staff in their department, these managers must develop strong client relationships. Senior program managers for marketing perform business analysis and work with other managers, sharing important information about existing marketing programs. They use a personal computer as one of their main tools to communicate, solve problems, and execute marketing programs.
