Ball State grads who become Presidents garner financial rewards beyond any other job type for this group — these alumni rake in an average $107K annually. However, Senior Project Architects and Software Engineers also rank as top-earners (bringing in around $80K and $73K, respectively). Indianapolis, Ind. is a hub for Ball State graduates — a large number call this city home. Degree Major

With a median annual earnings of $85K per year, former Cardinals who have a Master of Arts (MA), Applied Behavior Analysis are the best paid among the alumni population. Those with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Business Administration face salaries on the lower end, coming in at an average $36K per year.


Former Cardinals who have experience with Project Management can expect to make 21 percent more than other alumni ($61K on average). Project Management is a common skill among Ball State alumni — nearly one in eight grads mention using it at work. Also considered top-notch skills are Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Data Analysis.

Benefits and Perks

Only about two-fifths of alumni enjoy paid vacation and one-fourth of alumni receive sick leave. Most grads report contributing to a 401(k). Dental insurance applies to more than half of alumni, and a large number of graduates report health coverage.
