Radio Announcer Salary

Radio Announcers in the United States tend to have a good amount of experience under their belt — just over a half have more than 10 years in the field. While pay runs from $21K to $62K per year, median earnings come to $35K per year. Just under one in three of professionals in this line of work do not receive benefits; however, more than half report medical coverage and more than two-fifths claim dental coverage as well. Generally, women make up less than a third of all Radio Announcers who answered the questionnnaire. For the most part, Radio Announcers enjoy their work and report high levels of job satisfaction.
