Radio Announcer Salary

A little under three-quarters of Radio Announcers in the United States have been in the field for more than 10 years. Pay can fall anywhere from $21K to $62K per year, but median earnings come to around $35K annually. Job satisfaction is reported as high by the vast majority of workers. Close to a third of professionals in this line of work do not receive benefits; however, the greater part report medical coverage and about two in five claim dental coverage as well. Male Radio Announcers are far more common among survey respondents than their female counterparts, who typically comprise less than one-third of the field.
