Vice presidents (VP) of organizational development are responsible for talent acquisition, development of corporate and business unit growth strategies, strategic workforce planning activities, expansion of client bases, and other organizational matters. They typically work in partnership with other executives, department managers, and human resources (HR) managers to recognize talent for recruiting, and in working with marketing and production managers they may devise strategies to address competition and new product development.
