Assistant Operations Manager Reviews

Q: What is it like working as an Assistant Operations Manager?

Assistant Operations Manager in Orlando:
"Tough pay compared to cost of living."
Pros: I make more than my peers my age but still struggle with the surging cost of rent and cable/internet since spectrum took over. My industry is growing a lot but feels like a lot of work for “okay” pay, but most others I know in the same area but other fields make less than me and are forced to have roommates.
Cons: I’m considering moving my residence farther outside the city to avoid city traffic. It takes me 1 hr to commute each way for 13 miles or I can drive a little under an hour and a half on express ways and live 50 miles away where cost of living is cheaper. Most middle managers in my company are beginning to move farther and commute.
