Q: What is it like working as a Bank Teller?

"It's time to move on."
Pros: It's close to home so I don't have a long commute I've gotten to know a lot of the customers and they are very nice people but they are also privileged and somewhat spoiled.
Cons: There is not a lot of opportunity for advancement it is necessary 2 know someone 2 get ahead.

You can do all banking online now, find another career.

Pros: The people. Quite simply put, I appreciate being a part of an organization that makes a difference in the community.
Cons: I've yet to find something that would make a substantial difference.

Have enough patience to explain customer what is wrong or rules of some transaction .

First of all be a people person otherwise go elsewhere !! Learn your job ,balance your paperwork and drawer .... Please be a team player ! So important. Adapt to your co-workers and learn the positive from them .Learn from your mistakes and go forward 😊

Pros: Because of where my office is located ,I am in contact with a diverse culture of people who I enjoy interacting and working with.
Cons: In my office there is not much room to grow and I'm becoming board with my status. I am looking for positions which afford me opportunities to grow.

"Easy enough, but every once in a while..."
Pros: I like working with most of the customers that come in. I have made friends with more than one.
Cons: Some customers are absolutely awful. Yelling at anyone when they overdraw their own account like we're supposed to check it every day to make sure it doesn't happen. Like it's our fault they can't handle their own money.
