Waiter/Waitress Counter Reviews
What is it like working as a Waiter/Waitress Counter?
November 2018
West end Waitress.
Waiter/Waitress Counter in Brisbane:
Pros: I love the vibrant atmosphere of happy customers enjoying their food. I enjoy work in general, even if there's a lot to do because I feel complete when I do hard work, such as cleaning after people, waitressing and making sure everything is organised.
Cons: I feel there's a taboo around how much restaurant workers really get paid. On my part, I'm earning a fourteen year olds wage which is a bit sad, considering waitressing is a demanding job. And usually, the government doesn't know about employees who are getting underpaid in silence due to implications in their work service.

Waiter/Waitress Counter in Conway:
Pros: I like the people I work with and the aptmosphere. It's a fun position and a great opportunity.
Cons: I do not like confrontation, therefore, do not like asking someone for help because I am afraid to come of rude. I sometimes find myself doing much more work for much less pay.

It's great.
Waiter/Waitress Counter in Townsville:
Pros: The work environment is great - everyone is friendly and there are perks with food/meal discounts and cheap/free drinks. There is always constructive feedback from the manager and he is direct about what he wants from us and is very respectful towards all the staff. The pay is always on time as well which is great.
Cons: Probably the dishes and the lack of fixing broken fridge handles - there is not much to complain about other than what comes with the job (ie. occasionally annoyed customers, doing dishes, etc.)
