The corporate sales manager typically works in their organization's central office and works full time during regular business hours; however, some overtime may be needed depending on their organization's and tasks' requirements. Travel in and around the area is often expected to build and maintain sales relationships. The corporate sales manager often reports directly to the business administrator or a similar individual, and they are required to participate in regular meetings to review sales made, sales strategies, and upcoming goals.
A bachelor's degree in a business-related field and at least three to five years of sales or marketing experience is generally required for this position.
