Business Account Executive Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Business Account Executive?

Business Account Executive:
If you have a great manager your experience is great, I've had two that were clueless and downright unhelpful. If you are anywhere except the northeast you can make your goals and money, otherwise don't believe what they tell you. I read the weekly ranking reports and NO ONE in the NE is even close to their goal.

Business Account Executive in Clifton:
"Never Make a Bonus."
Pros: I like working from home, trusted to do my work and a positive manager.
Cons: Pay structure changes every 6 months and it's impossible to make a bonus, only less than 10% do.

Business Account Executive in Houston:
"Rolling Stone Life."
Pros: Meet a variety of clients in food service. Learn what it takes to get the food on your plate. Free samples of all authentic Japanese sauces and batter mixes. Fun environment with a diverse staff. Work with expats from Japan. Learn the in's and out's of sales. Learn how to plan you schedule. Company paid business trips and gas mileage reimbursements.
Cons: Very little guidance or training in sales for the inexperienced. Depending on the sales office's circumstances, may travel upward of 75%/month. Little versatility in product line to show customers. Commission rate very small and is dependent on last years sales performance.
