Sales Account Managers will also find cushy salaries in San Francisco (+30 percent), Minneapolis (+25 percent), Los Angeles (+23 percent), and Houston (+21 percent). San Diego is the lowest-paying area, 11 percent south of the national average. A couple other locations with smaller-than-average paychecks include San Jose (4 percent lower) and Cleveland (1 percent lower).
