If you want to be taken seriously, DO NOT COME to work looking like you are going to the mall or the club. Your boss and your colleagues are just humans, prone to talk about inappropriate outfits. Speak like a professional and speak like an adult, leave the "I was like..." and the slangs and double negatives at home and retrieve them later. Behave like a professional and you will be treated as one.

Most companies today look closer at your income, rather than your job performance. Thus with this point of view, job security is almost non-existent.

When your boss gives you a deadline he/she expects you to put it in their hand without mistake before that day. The worse thing in the world is having to be asked "got that report?" and backpedaling. DON'T PROCRASTINATE.

Show up early for the interview...at least 10 minutes early. Wear dress pants and a dress shirt that are ironed! Smell good, look awesome and be super positive and up beat.
