Match

We match our jobs—based on job content (description)—to multiple compensation surveys. This process of blending the results from multiple validated sources produces data that is more representative of the actual market than data from any individual survey.

Age

To maintain congruency, each survey’s data is aged to the current date using aging factors specific to the combination of the job’s function, level and geographic location.

Weight

The individual survey sources are weighted based on reputation and relevance, the number of organizations and incumbents included in a specific data cut, and the age of the survey

Aggregate

The data is then aggregated to create a market-price for each combination of job, industry, size and location, including all the standard statistical measures (averages and 10th to 90th percentiles) of base pay and total cash compensation.
